“The faster we live, the less emotion is left in the world. The slower we live, the deeper we feel the world around us.”
— Stanko Abadžic
why are we always so eager to reach the end of things.
thinking that the faster we end,
the more time we have to sit back and relax,
enjoy the scenery,smell the flowers.
assuming that whatever we passed by in the process of the mad rush,
could be revisited again when we're done with the race.
the desire for the joy of capturing the beauty with a peaceful mind, knowing that whatever i needed to do is done and there is nothing to worry about-- hasslefree, yes that's the word.
but all that's just a beautiful picture, sprinkled with a little fairy tale dust called assumption.
whatever's over remains over.
the past remains the past.
we might think we can walk back down memory lane and salvage everything we've missed in this mad rush called life,
only to realise that spring's gone,
winter's here.
the path that you took still remains,
but everything around it fades away, changes.
seize the moment,
experience whatever's around you at its best.
strive to last till the end,not reach the end first.
the difference between the two is probably the experience.
when you rush through anything, all you remember is the pain.
so what's the rush?
